  1. I’m sticking to the comment I left over on IG!!! You do finally get use to them driving. I still make Austin text me when he gets to where he’s going if he travels anywhere over an hours drive…he’s 21. But hey….you live under my roof….thems the rules! But he’s a good boy and does what I ask! xo

  2. Congrats to G! Good luck to mom and dad!

  3. Like I said before, it’s the most terrifying thing I have done yet as a parent. It’s getting better- but my worry gets the best of me. I’m sure you are more level headed than I. It will be good when we have things planned & he can take himself to work, but man, no one warned us about this part. I’m sure she’s going to do great! I think it just comes naturally for some more than others. Keep me posted 🙂 I love seeing her happiness shine through in this shot.

  4. Hello I am always inspired by your blog. Wow congratulations to your daughter. I am sure she is very excited of her driving. I am a mom of two daughters I am also excited for them to explore the world. My eldest daughter will be a student driver too hopefully by next year.

  5. It is scary. I certainly remember and it was harder when it was my daughter because our son had driven tractors and lawnmowers and his dad’s jeep. Our daughter was scared and so was I when she began driving on the interstate to school. Hang in there!

  6. Ohhh Kim, I took a deep breath after reading your post… such pride and excitement for G (despite any fear). Congratulations to you both! And now, she’ll be able to help run all those errands for you, saving you a ton of time 😉
