Life is starting to slow down and return to a more manageable pace. I’m thankful, even though this summer has been really enjoyable! I’m hoping to be a little more intentional and creative this coming week with the prompts.
This week is a smattering.
1. Sunset
I captured this last 4th of July, and it is only feasible after sunset. I’m looking forward to photographing the fireworks again this year.
2. Sweet
My Penang curry had sweet undertones today.
3. Hanging Around
Gracyn is hanging around at Atlantic Station today in the 106 degree temperature. It was hot as blazes!
4. Funny Face
Excuse the awesome condo deco from our beach trip. We vacationed with friends this year, which was lovely! The girls dressed up one night claiming to be from the 80s. I am indeed from the 80′s but never looked like this! Maybe something a little less than this for sure.
5. Space
This image, to me, feels solitary and spacious. I imagine being alone with your thoughts contemplating the vastness of the ocean.
I love your fireworks shot. We will have fireworks tonight on account of Hong Kong day (yup, and Canada Day, too), but I don’t think we are heading out and braving the crowds in this sticky and hot weather… I’ll have to wait for some other time to attempt more fireworks shots.
