Our street has been busy sprucing up for Halloween this week. The neighbors were all out raking and primping their yards Sunday afternoon for the steady flow of visitors at our doors on Thursday. My kids took it upon themselves to start raking and helping to clean up our yard.
Our neighborhood goes all out for Halloween, and it is a great time to meet those living among us. It’s a great time to rack up on the candies, too!
We plan to do our annual pumpkin carving tonight. There will be goop and seeds everywhere, but it just isn’t fall without them. Hubby will have to break out the Dremel to carve our pumpkins, and I will break out the apple cider to offer a little support. My role is primarily journalistic, supervisory, and roaster of seeds.
I can’t wait to see all the cuties this week!
