quarterly top five

It is nice to see that it is time for quarterly top five again. It feels like it has been ages since the last one!  I have been working on macro photography this winter, so my selection was minimal in terms of people.  I think I still managed to get at least one good photo of each child.  Now that spring is here, my intention is to pick up the pace on portraits once again.

My top 5…in no particular order.

Aidan, after his evening shower.

Gracyn on a windy day at the park.

Jasper contemplating life watching Phineas and Ferb.

Brothers sharing a book.

Aidan at the froyo shop.

Please excuse my partially missing sidebar.  It is will be under maintance this morning.

  1. ooooh these are beautiful – and that black and white processing is gorgeous!

  2. Classy BW conversions. I just love the third one, but I am a sucker for tight crops that focus on the eyes. I also love the shot of the boys reading. Such a sweet memory.

  3. I had to laugh when I saw you wrote ‘in no particular order’.. I did, too! I think as moms, we say that so that it is clear to whomever reads the post that we don’t play favorites, hahaha!

I agree with both Ashley and Amber… your b/w are classy and gorgeous!

  8. Woah, these are tremendous! I would love to have images of my children that were this high quality! It’s funny, we have a few things in common: Christians, homeschooling, 2 boys and a girl and we spent the first quarter on mostly macro photography!

  9. These are sooo awesome!! I love that last one.
