Little Things Thursday|Photography Link Up

Yesterday we made a long overdue trip to our public library…no pun intended.  Gracyn is ending her school year with a research paper on Elizabeth I.  She needed resources, and we decided to bring the boys along for more Ramona and Beezus books.  After a long school year, the kids look forward to a little brain candy.  As long as they keep reading during the summer, I’m happy.

My husband and I are busy preparing for a trip this weekend sans kids.  We are headed to coastal Georgia with some of my husband’s colleagues.  It’s a lovely resort, but truth told, I hate leaving my kids.  I’m going to “try” to leave my anxiety at home.

I am excited about time to photograph on the island.  🙂

  6. Oh first, I love, love this image Kim….and even though I haven’t been able to follow along with you all on the book, I do remember the geometry lesson and I recognize the rectangles and some leading lines and everything about this spells, AWESOME!!

As for the kiddos, we in almost 21 years of marriage have never been away together, EVER! My in-laws were suppose to watch them once and they backed out. Go away, have fun, and know that everything will be good…leave the guilt behind! xo

Can’t wait to see your photos from the weekend!!

  8. OH how sweet! The library is a reward for my girls and I hope they always work hard to earn this reward. In other words I hope they never snub it so I try to treat it elite.
