Welcome to the first Little Things Thursday of 2013!
On New Year’s I shared a few pictures from our New Year’s Eve photo booth. Setting it up was really easy. I made a quick stop at Party City for a hats, glasses, beads, balloons, foil stars, and of course, the mustaches.
I set my photo booth up in the boy’s room perpendicular to their window light. I also used my expodisc to set a custom white balance since we had such a gray day with little available natural light.
The rest was just pure fun.
With different items you can customize a photo booth for any occassion.

That truly is a fun idea for the New Year! I’ve done just a simple plain background shoot of my cousins the last 3 years, but may spice it up next year! LOVE your photos!

I can’t believe I missed another one! I forgot today was even Thursday. I loved your photo booth shots and am glad you explained the set up. Did you use flash? Considering how gray it was that day, you got some nice light in these.
what a great idea! I had a photo booth at a party once for the kiddo s- but it was so stinking July hot here – it didn’t go over so well. Maybe I will drag it out again!
