Little Things Thursday | Photography Link Up

Hello friends! I’m so glad you are back for Little Things Thursday.  If this week has taught us anything, it is that little things really do count.  Life is full of little joys waiting to be discovered.  We should embrace every good thing.

Like…summer days in the sun.

Summer is so restorative, and full of simple pleasures.

Summer to me is iced tea, watermelon, fresh veggies, grilling, bug bites, pool days, wearing eau de sunscreen, cute sundresses and sandals.

What’s your favorite thing about summer?

  9. I love this image! The light is amazing.

Our summers sound a lot like yours, with the addition of a few extra water activities, being that we live in a coastal town- beach, fishing and hanging out by the river.

Oh, and this summer we’re adding a trip to China. lol. So this particular summer will look a lot like the one we had 3 years ago. 😉

  10. I love so many things about summer! Probably my most favorite is the longer days. I hate when it gets dark at 5 PM. I love long summer days when the kids can go out and play after dinner, and we can take family walks to catch fire flies 🙂

  13. I love this pic of your boy!

I both love and dread summer. I love that it’s beach and flip-flop and tank top and watermelon season. I love that we don’t really have to keep to a schedule. What I absolutely dread, though, is the heat and the awful, awful humidity we get.

  14. haha – I’m happy school will soon end! I’m tired this year!

  15. That picture says “SUMMER” all over it. Today is my youngest child’s last day of being a Junior. In 4 hours he will be a Senior and my college kiddo is now the Junior. Gracious – suck in every moment because time is fleeting.

My favorite part of summer – no packed lunches and two kids under one roof (one last summer of that last part for sure).

  16. This week has definitely taught us many things, the least of all that the little things are often the biggest things. I love this photo you have captured and thank you for always hosting such a lovely place to share our “little things” posts. Hugs, xoxo

  18. I absolutely LOVE this photo!! I love his happy little face and the light on it. I also love all the white around him. I’m jealous that you are on summer break right now!! I CANNOT wait for those days!! After this week, we still have two more weeks of school. Summer is my absolute favorite time of the year. Love the hot sun, warm nights, late nights, grilling, etc. Now, I’m off to make iced tea and cut the watermelon that has been sitting on my counter for two days! 🙂
