Little Things Thursday

I’m so glad it is Little Things Thursday.  I took an unintentional few days off blogging to just get life done.  You know?  However, I’m glad that Thursdays exist to keep me on track with taking personal photos and personal blogging.  Confession…I’m woefully behind on my 365.  I guess 3 days isn’t really woeful, but it does make me feel anxious to be behind.   I’m not one to give up.  I may not get a photo a day, but I’m going to find a way to make it all add up in the end.

So this life I was catching up was mainly finalizing a few things for my photography business website.  It was one of those devil in the details kind of few days, but it feels good to move forward.

I grabbed my old trusty subject and did a few shots in our playroom that is admittedly not going to get painted this week as I had planned.

But whatever.

Though he be little…he be fierce!  And, he lost another tooth this week.  We totally forgot the tooth fairy last night.  It’s been one of those weeks.

How about yours?

Well, I sorta fell off the 365 – I didn’t give up, it just wasn’t for me. Your trusty subject is a might cute along with his fierce. And you know, the room will get painted in due time, you probably really needed a break – you did take one right? 😉 (a real one)

  3. I fell behind a whole week the last time I did a 365! It is a challenging project for sure… but I admire your positive attitude, it will all work out – and add up – in the end 🙂 Love the shots of your little terminator!

The shades, he kills me!! I once or twice got a few days off on my 365s – fear not – life is life!!

  5. He is such a reliable ‘go to’ and handsome and brave subject. I have a room that has needed paint for well over a year – I truly have no excuse. Good luck on the pro venture.

  6. I must admit I completely admire you for continuing onward with the 365 project. Woefully behind? Nah….you are barely behind my dear. I am excited that you were able to take some time to deal with life and your photography website business. That is awesome! As for little man…those sun shades! He is definitely photogenic! Will he notice that the tooth fairy didn’t visit last night? Maybe you could just tell him that he had lots of children to visit and he was delayed? Happy Thursday! Wishing you an amazing rest of the week!

  8. Oh those eyes. I giggled about the tooth fairy – I have forgotten before. Good thing they believed my story. 🙂

Glad things are getting wrapped up & you are feeling on top of things. That is such a great feeling!!

Don’t feel bad. Keeping up with a 365 is a tall order. After I finished mine, I found that it I shoot nearly every day anyway, but not having that pressure to post about it was such a relief! And I, too, have forgotten the tooth fairy – oy! Makes you feel terrible, doesn’t it? I’m sure they’ll survive childhood despite us 😉

    Have a great day!!

  10. I’m loving my 365 this year – match a photo with a quote every day! I’m not always right on time, but am determined to have 365 great quotes matched up with photos I love by the end of the year! He’s great in those glasses! The movie Men in Black came out when my boy was about that age…and I couldn’t get him to take off the dark glasses for weeks! In France, the tooth fairy is a mouse. Yes… a tooth mouse comes, climbs in the bed and leaves some money. How that does NOT totally freak out kids I will never know. But that pesky mouse forgot our kids a fair few times! Alas….

  11. Wonderful photos, beautiful portraits, stunning eyes!

  12. ARGH…I’m with you on having many, many details in OTHER areas aside from blogging/photography that I need to pay attention to. Hello weddings?????? I might be taking a few days off myself. Glad you got accomplished what needed to be done!

  13. The tooth fairy was forgotten? How could you Kim? Well, I guess you have some time to make it up.
You’ll get things sorted out 🙂

  14. I adore the sparkle in his eyes, and now I want to see a toothy (or tooth-less) smile!

  15. As you know I am on my 3rd year of a 365 Project. At times I find myself battling with it but 3 years has made me very practiced at it and I try to set aside a little bit of time each week to get as many posts ready as possible, that way I don’t have to ‘write’ one every day just simply press the publish button.

Not doing so well on my Project 52 either. I haven’t kept track, although I am sure that I have the number of pics needed thus far. *sigh* I should do a run-down, catch-up post to keep me more focused.

He does look “fierce” with the shades on. 🙂 Very cool.

  17. Love this. The tooth fairy has been forgotten many a time at our house. *sigh*

Your “old” trusty subject is what, 5, 6, 7? 😉 LOL! He’s a doll and a trooper. My kids still like pics… whew! Just a matter of getting them to stop during LIFE! To that, I also give a resounding “whatever.” 😉

Hope your week is slower and filled with MORE 365 pics for us to enjoy!

  18. Your “old” trusty subject is adorable, as usual. The light on his face in the first photo is splendid. Guess all that light made him grab his sunglasses. You are blessed to have such a cutie for your subject.
