Little Things Thursday (2)

Welcome back to the first Little Things Thursday of 2014!  I trust that you have all had a wonderful start to the New Year.

If you missed my New Year’s post from yesterday, I wrote about my word of the year being SEEK.  Among the many things that I seek, a 365 project is listed.

These were really taken on Day 1, but I’m counting them as Day 2.  I’m allowing a little flexibility for posts that go live at midnight.

My Boys

I love how his being chilly, created posed arm placement. I used what was happening naturally.

My boys-New Year's Day

I had a little talk with this one about needing to be in more pictures this year. I don’t like to force, but I do want him to have photos of himself to treasure.

These boys have absolutely lived in pajamas all Christmas break.  School comes Monday, so we are just going to let this keep happening a few more days.

Let’s see how your 2014 has gotten off to a bang.  Any goals, dreams, words?

  6. it becomes harder to encourage them as they get older. They begin to break away and not want to cooperate as much. They want to do their own thing.

  8. I think goals instead of resolutions is a good thing & it sounds like you are on a good track. Back to the hustle of things- school for us soon too. Sigh – I have barely noticed this time off from it- went by way too fast.

  12. Gorgeous photos of your boys! I have an elusive one also. Unless he’s being a goofball, but who wants pictures of someone being silly all.the.time? We’re working on that also.

I have a word for the year. And a few goals. I continually come up with more though. My list tends to evolve throughout the year.

Many blessings to you and your family in 2014!
