Harry Potter is a much loved book series in our home. We visited Wizarding World Of Harry Potter earlier this year and sampled the yummy drinks at Three Broomsticks. October is the perfect time to make these Harry Potter inspired drinks at home for your Muggles. Pumpkin Juice, adapted from Food.com.
To make this refreshing fall drink, you will need:
8 ounces of Apple Cider
3 ounces of Pear Nectar
3 Tablespoons of fresh or canned pumpkin puree
1/8 teaspoon of each: apple pie spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger
1 Tablespoon simple syrup (optional)
1 cup of ice
Add all the ingredients to your blender and liquefy until smooth but icy. Pour into a glass and serve with festive straws…and a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle of cinnamon.
Want it creamy? Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
And as a bonus…you have all the ingredients to make Pear Cider! Which occurred to me on the spot!
4 ounces of apple cider
4 ounces of pear nectar
1/8 teaspoon of cinnamom
1 cup of ice
Add all ingredients to the blender and liquify until smooth, but icy. Pour into a glass and serve! These recipes would be a great addition to any Harry Potter inspired party!
See you at Platform 9 3/4.
