March’s Birchbox arrived last week! Pink box day is always a boost of cheer.
This box was my last box on my first year’s subscription…but it certainly won’t be the end.
First, let’s see what March offered.
I love how soft and spring-like the contents of this box are!
Caldrea|Body Lotion::Full-size $22. The scents are really unique, and the texture is silky. These lotions have great moisturizing capabilities. I would certainly buy this brand. In fact, I have seen Caldrea in various shops about town, but never tried the product. I’m really glad these generous samples were included.
MAKE|Eyeshadow::Full-size $18. MAKE is a new brand on the market. My first thought was how much I loved the great packaging. The sample color is granite. It is a smokey, slightly metallic gray. I love it. It goes on wonderfully, and without bits of residue falling on my cheeks. That’s big for me. Additionally, 1/3 of sales for the product go to charity.
MAKE|Face Primer Broad Spectrum SPF 30::Full-size $30. I’m a huge fan of facial products that incorporate SPF. That is just one extra step that I want solved for me.
Nick Chavez Beverly Hills|Color-Saver Sulfate-Free Shampoo::Full-size $22. I enjoyed this sample of sulfate-free shampoo. I absolutely need sulfate-free products to prevent color stripping on my hair. The scent was really enjoyable with the apple and lemon extracts. As a beauty extra, I was given the Paraben-free conditioner to try. It was great as well. The sample size was a one time use for me, and I would have loved to try it for a few days to really test the product. Full-size on the conditioner is $24.
Madewell for Birchbox|Emery Board::Full-size $5. This springy floral printed emery board was another beauty extra. It is super cute, and I’m keeping it bedside for quick filing at night. It’s adorable, and I love Madewell!

I’m extremely impressed with the year I had with Birchbox! It has been fun, and I have discovered many products that are now my favorites. My $10 per month subscription allowed me to experiment risk free. I love the deluxe sample sizes that are often big enough to last for a few weeks-months. I’m certainly renewing my subscription with Birchbox. Birchbox is a wonderful company. I’m a fan!
