I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! We had a great church service, hunted eggs, and grilled steaks. Mostly, it was a low-key holiday for us. I slightly regret not getting the big Easter ham this year, as leftovers would be helpful today as we start soccer practices again today. Must-think-these-things-thru!
Also…feeling pretty lame that I didn’t really get pictures of my kids in their Easter clothes. I didn’t leave enough time yesterday morning. I had 5 minutes and in those 5 minutes I was meeting some resistance. I gave up after 2 crummy shots.
It was far better to arrive at church without the hormone induced frenzy that would have resulted from trying for the perfect shot.
Because time was short this week, I made an Easter collage with some repeats.
I did go chase these flies or whatever they are around again.
I even had to resort to taking shots today just to have things to post!
But, this one is just precious to me. Jasper has just hit the accelerator with his interest in school. He is constantly writing and reading lately. He found Dick and Jane books on our shelves and decided to read them. See Jasper read.
I opened our front door to light the entry. While the cat saw that as an opportunity to try for escape, Gigi came to listen to the story. Loyal Gigi.
They are all beautiful – but that last one is the perfect moment captured.
